Julia Maria Heartt,1 born ca. 1826 in Alabama, the daughter of Christopher Heartt and Cornelia Lyle;1, 2, 3 died 12 February 1898 in Summit, Union County, New Jersey.4 Julia married, 15 July 1844 in St. Thomas, West Indies, Thomas Pott5 (born 1814 in New York, the son of Gideon Pott and Margaret Saidler;1, 2, 5 Thomas died 4 April 1877 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York5).

1041 Thomas Pott

Thomas Pott, son of Gideon, member 1807, and Margaret Saidler, his wife, was born in 1814. He became a clerk with Aymar & Co. for some time and went out to St. Thomas in the West Indies, where he married July 15, 1844, Julia M. F. Heartt, of Troy, New York. He became a member of the firm of I. F. Penniston & Co. and in 1862 returned to New York. He died in Brooklyn April 4, 1877.5
