Cornelia is buried in Saint Johns Reformed Dutch Church Cemetery, Upper Red Hook, Dutchess County, New York.² Christopher is buried in Magnolia Cemetery, Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama.⁵

Julia Maria Heartt² (Cornelia¹), born ca. 1826 in Alabama;^{1, 2, 3} died 12 February 1898 in Summit, Union County, New Jersey.⁴ Julia married, 15 July 1844 in St. Thomas, West Indies, Thomas Pott⁵ (born 1814 in New York, the son of Gideon Pott and Margaret Saidler;^{1, 2, 5} Thomas died 4 April 1877 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York⁵).

The Biographical Register of Saint Andrew’s Society of the State of New York provides a brief biographical sketch of Thomas Pott:⁵

1041 Thomas Pott

Thomas Pott, son of Gideon, member 1807, and Margaret Saidler, his wife, was born in 1814. He became a clerk with Aymar & Co. for some time and went out to St. Thomas in the West Indies, where he married July 15, 1844, Julia M. F. Heartt, of Troy, New York. He became a member of the firm of I. F. Penniston & Co. and in 1862 returned to New York. He died in Brooklyn April 4, 1877.⁵
