Occomore;8, 9, 10 Ida died 1 May 1970 in Swartz Creek, Genesee County, Michigan8). Their marriage ended in divorce on 13 June 1910 in Michigan.8 Samuel married, second, 30 September 1911 in Ithaca, Gratiot County, Michigan, Ina M. Calkins13 (born 30 December 1870 in Clayton, Lenawee County, Michigan, the daughter of Samuel Edmund Calkins and Mary Banks;12, 13, 14, 15 Ina died 19 April 195512). Samuel married, third, 30 August 1919 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, Ethel B. Strohauer8, 17 (born ca. 1885 in Michigan, the daughter of Zachary Strohauer and Elizabeth Brown5, 16). Their marriage ended in divorce.16 Ina is buried in Bendle Cemetery, Flushing, Genesee County, Michigan.12

Eloise Alice Gazlay, born ca. 1907 in Michigan;9 died 30 November 1912 in Mundy, Genesee County, Michigan.18, 19 Eloise was a beautiful little girl who died at the age of five of double pneumonia after having an appendectomy. Her mother kept her room the same, never changing a thing up to when her mother died in 1970.18
