First Generation
1. Helen Mar Gustin,1 born 28 September 1846 in Columbus, Chenango County, New York, the daughter of John Levi Gustin and Mary Ann Fenton;1, 2, 3 died 8 January 1930.2 Helen married, first, May 1870, Newel Wolcott2 (born ____, parents not determined; Newel died 9 May 18792). Helen married, second, December 1890, Albert Nichols2 (born ____, parents not determined; Albert died ca. 19142).

After her husband Newel died in 1879, Helen lived for a time in Chagun Falls, Ohio, where she kept borders. Later she went to Hiram-Portage County, Ohio, where she had the Men’s Dining Room of Disciple College. There her children Vivian and Archie attended college, as did the sons of Albert Nichols. In this way Helen met and married Albert Nichols.2

+3ii. Archie Dorr Wolcott, born 15 March 1875 in Streetsboro, Portage County, Ohio; died 24 October 1954 in Auburndale, Polk County, Florida. Married Perla May Vair.

Second Generation
2. Vivian Wolcott2 (Helen1), born 1872;1 died 1958.1 Vivian married Homer Clark Ramsdell3 (born 1872, parents not determined;2 Homer died February 1953 in Lakeland, Polk County, Florida3). Vivian and Homer are buried in Franklin Cemetery, Franklin, Oakland County, Michigan.1, 2

Homer was a newspaper man in Ravenna, Ohio.3


+4i. Helen Josephine Ramsdell, born 7 October 1902; died 8 December 1998. Married Lincoln Field Parker.

3. Archie Dorr Wolcott2 (Helen1), born 15 March 1875 in Streetsboro, Portage County, Ohio;3 died 24 October 1954 in Auburndale, Polk County, Florida.3 Archie married, 2 October 1917 in Ravenna, Portage County, Ohio, Perla May Vair3 (born ____, parents not determined).

Archie went to Florida in December 1906. Prior to going to Florida, he worked for Ravenna See house and Nursery, and before that for Uncle Charles Gustin, who had a nursery in Adrian, Michigan. Archie’s wife, Perla, now [in the 1950s] living in Auburndale, Florida, has been very helpful in supplying what information of the Gustin family she had. They had no children.3

Third Generation
4. Helen Josephine Ramsdell3 (Vivian,2 Helen1), born 7 October 1902;1 died 8 December 1998.1 Helen married Lincoln Field Parker3 (born 12 September 1905, parents not determined;2 Lincoln died 2 April 19922). Helen and Lincoln are buried in Franklin Cemetery, Franklin, Oakland County, Michigan.1, 2

Both Lincoln and Helen are graduates of Ohio Wesleyan. Lincoln had an insurance business in Detriot, but he lived in suburban Franklin.2
