Hulda, who became the wife of Gardner James, [spent] the most of her life in Smyrna, and where she died at an advanced age in the early seventies.9

  8. Gazlay, Lee, Ancestors of Stephen Tefft, Late of Jewett City, Connecticut. August 5, 2020, Mystic, Connecticut. This paper presents research on Stephen Tefft, who lived in Rhode Island and Connecticut, eventually settling in Jewett City, Griswold, Connecticut. The research indicates that Stephen was a son of Ezekiel Tefft and his wife Amie (or Amy) Wilcox.
