Although her given name was Eliza, she hated the name and was known by her family as Don. Various records list her as Lida.16

Webster was a prominent civil engineer in Louisville, Kentucky. He worked for several businesses and was well respected in his profession.12


 7i. Webster Gazlay, Jr., born 25 June 1908 in Jefferson County, Kentucky;5, 6, 7, 17, 18 died 3 February 1969 in Santa Clara, California.18 Webster enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1942.19 Webster is buried in Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky.15

Sallie Josephine Gazlay, born 5 September 1912;6, 20 died 6 November 1920 in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky.20 According to her death certificate, eight year old Sallie died from accidental burns when her clothing caught fire from a bonfire while burning trash.20 Sallie is buried in Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky.15, 20
