Main;1, 2, 3 died 14 January 1908 in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut.1, 3 Horace married, 16 October 1895 in Hopkinton, Washington County, Rhode Island, Annie Dora Tefft2, 11 (born August 1868 in Connecticut, the daughter of John H. Tefft and Ellen O. Boyens;2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 Annie died 10 December 1957 in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut10). Horace and Annie are buried in Maplewood Cemetery, Norwich, New London County, Connecticut.12, 1

Horace worked a good part of his life as a clerk in Norwich. He was employed by J. C. Worth, Harwood, Bishop, and Bidwell, and Robert W. Otis. For some time he was a motorman on the trolley road. He was capable and proved trustworthy in every position he filled. He was of good habits and possessed a jovial and kind disposition and had many warm friends. Horace was married twice, and is survived by his second wife and two step children, his father, a brother, Stiles Chapman, who is employed in Taftville, and a sister, Mrs. Isaac Main of North Stonington.3

Chester Arthur Chapman (born Phillips)2 (Horace1), born 13 August 1891 in Griswold, New London County, Connecticut;1, 2, 11, 12, 13, 14 died 25 March 1958 in Rocky Hill, Hartford County, Connecticut.15 Chester married, 22 August 1918 in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut, Ella Francis Corey12, 13, 19 (born May 1896 in Connecticut, the daughter of Emanuel R. Corey and Ella Francis Colvin12, 16, 17, 18). Chester is buried in Maplewood Cemetery, Norwich, New London County, Connecticut.20 Chester was adopted by Horace Congdon Chapman.
