 5iv. Frank Conklin, born 1850 in Michigan.4 Even though Frank shows as a Gazlay in the 1870 census, it is believed that he is the son of Ruth Gazlay by her first husband Gilbert Conklin, based on Frank’s birth being well before Ruth’s second marriage to Miles Gazlay.
