Their marriage ended in divorce on 21 May 2002.2 Robert married, second, 23 November 2002 in Middleburg, Virginia, Peggy Jean Palmisano (née Krupowski) (born 18 April 1952 in New London, New London County, Connecticut, the daughter of Alexander Anthony Krupowski and Jean Victoria Tefft).
