Biography

Ernest was a WWII Army veteran. He worked at Shelton Weaving Company, Federal Paper Board, both in Montville, Connecticut, and later at Electric Boat in Groton, Connecticut, as a painter, and lastly for the City of New London.1

Ernest was known as Penn from his employment with the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was cremated and his ashes were sprinkled over his parents’ graves.4
