1, 5Dottie worked as a nurse’s aid at Norwich Hospital for many years, and also at Monsanto at Essex. She established and ran Dots and Daughters, a gift shop, on Route 32 in Montville, Connecticut.1
Ernest was a WWII Army veteran. He worked at Shelton Weaving Company, Federal Paper Board, both in Montville, Connecticut, and later at Electric Boat in Groton, Connecticut, as a painter, and lastly for the City of New London.2
Ernest was known as Penn from his employment with the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was cremated and his ashes were sprinkled over his parents’ graves.5
