Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gazlay of South Edmeston held open house Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.

Eva Reed was born in Stockwell, May 11, 1868. Charles was born Oct. 19, 1865, in the Gazlay homestead, where they now live. They were married in North Pharsalia, Mar. 4, 1891, by Rev. William Southworth. The Gazlay farm is part of the Colonel Edmeston grant, the present house being built in 1829. Before that the parents lived in a log house. They have one daughter, Mrs. Lynn Tuttle, Frankfort, and two granddaughters, Jean, attending school in Buffalo, and Marie, a high school student in Frankfort.
