Divorce Filing, Waterbury Evening Democrat, Waterbury, Connecticut, In several articles from June 1906 to January 1907, divorce suit brought by Elnathan Gazely [sic] against his wife Adelaide, alleging infidelity, and fight for custody of their 10 year old daughter. Mr. Gazely confronted Adelaide and Mr. George Boden and privately agreed to a payment of $600 from Mr. Boden as hush money to preserve his reputation. Ultimately the court dismissed the divorce suit for lack of evidence, and granted custody of their child to Mrs. Gazely. Apparently some time later, the couple did actually divorce, although the date is not known. Adelaide later married George Boden.
