Reuben was a well respected physician in Rochester, NY. Both Reuben and his wife Mary were Quakers.1

Irene attended several institutions of higher learning, including the University of California and the University of Rochester. She was the Acting Physical Director of Women at Rochester in 1909. She wrote “Rythmic Action Plays and Dance” in 1915. This book, though out of print, is still available on eBay and such sites.1
Both Fred and Irene were Quakers.1
