Their marriage ended in divorce.9 Mary married, second, 15 May 1864 in Otisville, Genessee County, Michigan, Alexander Ward4 (born 1813 in Northamptonshire, England, parents not determined;3, 4 Alexander died 23 September 1881 in Otisville, Genessee County, Michigan4). William is buried in Avondale Cemetery, Flint, Genesee County, Michigan.5
