Matteson and Lavonia Laura Jeffords;1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 George died 12 April 19268). George is buried in Fairview Cemetery, New Berlin, Chenango County, New York.8

Martha emigrated in 1890 from Canada.1

George worked variously as a carpenter and a machinist, according to census records. He served for over two years in Company F, 114th Regiment, New York Infantry during the Civil War, discharged as a corporal.10
