Alexander married Roseanna Ashton (born 5 March 1865 in Canada, the daughter of Baptiste Ashton;¹ Roseanna died 11 August 1959 in Foster, Providence County, Rhode Island²). Roseanna is buried in St. Patrick Cemetery, Montville, New London County, Connecticut.²
