Joseph served in the US Army Air Force during World War II. He retired as an engineer analyst from Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford. Joseph was mayor of Windsor, Connecticut, from 1960 to 1962. He helped found and was active in the Little League of Windsor. Joseph was also active in various community organizations, commissions, and committees.2

Madeline was a resident of Windsor for over 50 years. She was active in various civic organizations and fund drives.4
