  1. Gazlay, Lee, Ancestors of Stephen Tefft, Late of Jewett City, Connecticut. August 5, 2020, Mystic, Connecticut. This paper presents research on Stephen Tefft, who lived in Rhode Island and Connecticut, eventually settling in Jewett City, Griswold, Connecticut. The research indicates that Stephen was a son of Ezekiel Tefft and his wife Amie (or Amy) Wilcox. The couple raised their family in Rhode Island and later removed to Smyrna, New York, while son Stephen remained in Connecticut. Available as a .pdf at Gazlay Family History (website), under Sources.
