Second Generation
2. Edward DeLancey Honour2 (John1), born 20 August 1895 in Greenville, South Carolina;1, 2 died 18 January 1983 in Elizabeth, Union County, New Jersey.1, 2 Edward married, first, 4 June 1918, Grace McGregor2 (born 8 April 1902 in New Jersey, the daughter of David McGregor and Nellie Birrell Patterson;3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 Grace died 10 March 1972). Their marriage ended in divorce in before 1921.2 Edward married, second, 14 April 1928 in Waterford, New York, Dorris Helen Pollock2 (born 6 September 1911, parents not determined;2, 9 Dorris died 16 June 19959). Edward is buried in Cloverleaf Cemetery, Woodbridge, Union County, New Jersey.2 Grace is buried in Rosedale Cemetery, Orange, Essex County, New Jersey.10

Edward worked in several jobs before serving for six months in the US Army during WWI. Afterward, he worked and lived in various states until he settled in New Jersey, finding employment as a state corrections officer, retiring in 1961. He was a Mason and a member of various organizations. He compiled two editions of The Honour Family History in 1970 and 1980.2
