Biography

Grace, likely named for her paternal grandmother, is presumed to have died before 1881 since she does not appear with her family in the 1881 Scotland Census nor in the 1890 immigration record that shows her mother and two siblings (Nellie and John). Also, the 1900 US Census shows that her mother Euphemia had a total of 4 children with only 2 living.
