Biography

Margaret came to America in 1870. She and her husband Harris T. Chapel lived in East Lyme where she was a member of the Community Church. After her husband died in 1901, she came to live in Montville. She died at the home of her daughter, Annie Coffey, in Palmertown. Among her survivors was her niece, Mrs. Charles Allen, whom she raised from infancy.2
