Biography

Margaret Howe wrote, “As I remember Grandma Gazlay, she was in her eighties, she loved to read, especially the Christian Herald, which my father, Arthur faithfully reads to this day. Grandma loved to play checkers and dominoes. She knit mittens for all the grand children, even a pair for me when I was in college. She could recite cute sayings of poetry to fit any occasion. Her daughter Grace inherited, and surpasses her, in the ability.”4
