Biography

Lee served in the U.S. Army during World War I. He was a member of the New York State Assembly 1934-54, serving as majority leader starting in 1947. Afterward, he was appointed to the State Parole Board, and afterward was elected chairman. Lee was appointed to several commissions related to public health.2, 8
