Biography
Alva worked in the Kentucky tobacco and oil fields. He was a welder, working jobs with the plumber’s union in Hartford. He was retired from the Soneco company in Montville. Alva was a member of the Owensboro Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons in Kentucky, and the Bozrah Rod and Gun Club in Connecticut.2
