Boyens;1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 died 12 August 1960 in New London, New London County, Connecticut.6 Luella married, 27 August 1891 in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut, Charles Timothy Senay7 (born February 1871 in Williamsville, Windham County, Connecticut, the son of Timothy Senay and Emily Charboneau7, 8, 9). Their marriage ended in divorce in before 1900.9 Luella is buried in Carey Cemetery, Canterbury, Windham County, Connecticut.6

+2i. Charles Timothy Senay, Jr., born 5 February 1892 in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut; died 2 August 1969 in Newington, Hartford County, Connecticut. Married Ellen Brent Pearson Myatt.
 3ii. Clayton Elwood Senay, born 28 September 1894 in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut;10 died 15 April 1896 in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut.10, 11 Clayton is buried in Yantic Cemetery, Norwich, New London County, Connecticut.10

Second Generation
2. Charles Timothy Senay, Jr.2 (Luella1), born 5 February 1892 in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut;1, 2, 3, 4, 5 died 2 August 1969 in Newington, Hartford County, Connecticut.1, 2, 6 Charles married, 25 June 1921 in Raleigh, Wake County, North Carolina, Ellen Brent Pearson Myatt9 (born 25 March 1903, the daughter of John Walter Myatt and Martha Fowle;5, 7 Ellen died 13 January 1985 in Fulton County, Georgia7, 8). Charles is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia.6

Charles was born in Norwich and lived there during his early life. He graduated from Trinity College in 1915, having previously attended the University of Connecticut. In 1915, earned his masters degree in biology from the University of Illinois. He taught school in Massachusetts until he joined the army in November 1916 as a second lieutenant. During his 31 years in the Army, he attained the rank of colonel and earned numerous American and foreign decorations, including the Distinguished Service Cross, Bronze Star, Silver Star, Purple Heart, World War I Victory Medal with four battle clasps and the Defensive Sector clasp. Among his assignments during World War II, he organized the 2694th Technical Supervision Regiment which was in charge of guarding all Italian prisoners of war in North Africa. He retired in 1947 due to a physical disability. His survivors included his wife, Ellen Brent Senay, a daughter, Ellen B. Jones, a son, Lt. Col. David C. Senay, five grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. He was interred in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia.6

Ellen Brent Senay3 (Charles,2 Luella1), born 7 February 1927 in Raleigh, Wake County, North Carolina;1, 2, 3 died 19 September 2000 in Naples, Collier County, Florida.1, 3 Ellen married, first, ca. 1946, John M. Jones4 (born ____, parents not determined). Ellen married, second, 11 May 1974 in Harwinton, Litchfield County, Connecticut, Robert Graeme Smith3, 6 (born 24 April 1926, parents not determined;5 Robert died 4 April 1978 in Collier County, Florida5).

Ellen was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, a proud Mayflower descendant and the great-granddaughter of Governor Fowle of North Carolina. She attended Vasser College and earned a masters degree in fine arts from Tulane University. Ellen was a professor of theater arts at the University of Connecticut and the educational program director at the Hartford Stage Company. In her later years, she was a long time resident of Naples, Florida, where she volunteered at Naples Players. Ellen was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church and she worked at a thrift shop in Naples. She was survived by four children from her first marriage, two step children from her second marriage, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.3
