Kate married, second, 31 March 1909 in Bedford, Taylor County, Iowa, Henry Willis Gazlay1, 19 (born 26 November 1854 in Cortland County, New York, the son of Dr. Henry Champion Gazlay and Sabra Elvira Cornwall;7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 Henry died 22 February 1934 in Dayton, Liberty County, Texas7, 8, 17, 18). Kate is buried in Graceland Cemetery, Creston, Union County, Iowa.4 Lawrence is buried in Graceland Cemetery, Creston, Union County, Iowa.4 Henry is buried in Linney Cemetery, Dayton, Liberty County, Texas.7, 17

Mrs. Kate Kiplinger was among the members of the Young People’s Society of Christian Endeavor listed in Century Chest Transcription 41, which was dated 4 August 1901. It is part of the contents of the Century Chest which was opened 31 December 2001.20
